This brand new Cricket practice facility was installed by ourselves, for Southwell CC.

As the synthetic sports surface was installed during the start of the cricket season, we used boards and small machinery to minimise any disruption to the playing area, leaving a fit for use zone straight away after project completion.

Because we took extra special care of the grounds, this meant there was hardly any disruptions to Cricket training for the club.

The Cricket system was fitted to current Notts Sport designs & specification, consisting of 2 no. 11 meter Envelope System batting ends & 2 no. 8 meter Notts Sport bowling ends, completed with Notts Grass tufted cricket turf.

The Cricket cage and Cricket netting system is fully tailored to the clubs requirements, with the selected choice of a low maintenance surround material making the area easier for the club to maintain.

The Cricket envelope system is installed with a view to mirroring natural conditions to the best of its ability.

When the surface is wet, such as early season, it will be a slower and lower play and as it dries out, it will become a quicker pitch with more bounce much like we get through the cricket season.

With this project we were able to show our ability to cope with a larger than standard project, as we moved in the region of 250 tonnes of soil along with installing a root break and mole trench along with a trench for ducting.

All works were carried out and completed on time and within budget and comes complete with a standard 10 year warranty.
