Bingham Ground Services were contracted to install a new Double Bay Cricket Practice Facility at Pocklington Cricket Club in East Riding of Yorkshire.
This involved Notts Sport who provided all CAD drawings and specifications for the cricket installation which we followed during the install process.
The club opted for the Notts Sport Envelope system pitch specification which is the closest specification to natural turf and is slower and lower in pace when wetter such as early season and as it dries out becomes faster paced with more bounce. These systems were installed with the Natural Straw coloured surface in full widths with dark green surrounds with one seam down the middle where the centre cage line is.
The cricket cage is ECB standard thickness and height and 18.3m long and fully clad with black cricket netting which has wire tensioning system to prevent billowing.
The installation was completed within the timescale with minimal disruption to the club and ready for the start of the new Cricket Season.
