Established in 1096, Norwich School is amongst the oldest schools in England. The independent day school is set in the beautiful grounds of Norwich Cathedral.
Notts Sport was asked to visit Norwich School to look at replacing its existing two-lane indoor cricket facility, with the existing top surface being in disrepair. Bingham Ground Services undertook the project, ultimately removing the original surfacing and laying shockpad across the length and width of the facility, providing a more realistic and consistent level of pace and bounce.
The pioneering new cricket surface NottsGrass Ultra was then laid over the shockpad, with one lane having in-laid coaching lies. The school now has a long lasting, consistent playing practice facility to aid the development of players of all ranges and abilities.
