We were thrilled when the club reached out to us to tender for their new Double Bay fully enclosed cricket practice area at their ground in Eastwood. After conducting an initial on site consultation, we determined that the Notts Sport NottsBase D System practice pitches were the clubs preferred option. complete with a fully enclosed cage and netting system. This would give the club a Notts Sport ECB approved cricket training facility along with 12 year warranties.
Bingham Ground Services along with providing the quotation assisted with providing the club with all required documentation for planning and insurances and all Health and Safety certification required by the Borough Council.
Despite the added challenge of poor access to the site meaning we had to lifting all materials over a wall. We successfully completed the installation in just three weeks.
Once all groundworks had been completed, all the performance layers were installed. Then the highest quality Notts Grass NG Ultra cricket surface, with two tone colour and coaching lines was installed and marked out to the clubs requirements.
