We were contacted by Clontarf Cricket Club earlier in the year to provide specification and quotation for a new Cricket Practice Facility at the club to replace their existing concrete practice area.
In consultation with Notts Sport we provided the club with CAD drawings and specifications to work towards with the club doing the initial ground works to remove all the existing practice area and install sub base.
We were then appointed to construct the new cricket nets by installation of kerb edging then install the Notts Sport ECB approved Notts Base practice pitches, this along with a new 3 lane cricket cage and netting to the ECB standard length of 18.3m.
It was our first project in export where we were the main contractor and had to deal with a lot of issues relating to Customs and the Brexit regulations so tested our resolve in how to achieve all the logistics before we started with the install.
The Cricket club were very helpful as were our suppliers in Dublin and assisted us in installation of a fantastic new facility with the two tone Notts Grass really being a striking feature of the Cricket Practice Area.
