Project Introduction
We’ve recently complete this wonderful project at Cardinal Road Infant & Primary School.
The project involved fitting an overlay onto the schools existing wet pour areas, as they had become slippery and a danger to the children using it.
The play surface we installed is bright and colourful to engage the children during play time.
As a sand filled surface, it’s harder wearing than others and proven to reduce slipping in playground and play areas.
All our play surfaces are supplied by a UK firm and come complete with a full warranty.

We were lucky enough to be asked to complete this project in London.
The brief was to overlay 5 x existing wet pour areas, with new Needle punch surface. The design was set by our clients and installed to match their exact requirements.
The surface chosen was the Playrite Matchwinner Velour. This was the favored surfacing option due to its durability properties, as well as the fact it’s available in up to 14 different colours. Perfect for creating an engaging and vibrant play space.
This sand filled surface option has given the area a facelift and provided a cost effective way to enhance the useful lifespan of the play surface.
Minimal base works are required, meaning the job was completed with very little disturbance to the school.
